Trio Cremeloque

“The oboist and bassoonist of the Lisbon-based Trio Cremeloque deny the preconceived notion of superiority of string ensembles with virtuosic and expressive playing supported by refined musicianship of pianist Savka Konjikusic.” Frits van der Waa, Volkskrant 2015

Portuguese oboist Luís Marques, German bassoonist Franz Jürgen Dörsam and Serbian pianist Savka Konjikusic met in Lisbon as soloists of the Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra and Portuguese Symphony Orchestra. They had many years of collaboration in a large cosmopolitan society with musicians of different nationalities, which allowed them an intensive activity in the field of chamber music and concerts all over the world. After extensive experience in chamber music, they formed the Trio Cremeloque whose repertoire includes works less well-known to the general public, as well as its own adaptation of well-publicized piano trios, recreating through a very particular sound its own musical identity. The members of Trio Cremeloque studied in renowned schools such as Musik Akademie der Stadt Basel, Music University of Hannover and Royal Conservatorium The Hague and won several national and international competitions. They performed in various European cities such as Paris, London, Belgrade, Lisbon, Madrid, Mainz, Mannheim, etc. In Granada they were invited to perform at the Festival of the “International Double Reed Society”. Among the various concert halls where they performed are prestigious auditoriums such as St. John’s Smith Square, St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Johannes Gutenberg University, Skupstina grada Beograda, etc. Some of these concerts were broadcast by Serbian Television Radio, Portuguese Diffusion Radio and BBC Radio. The Trio’s first album including works by Lalliet, Ravel, Poulenc and Rachmaninoff received excellent international reviews.
